Why did we select those two companies to analyse their brand strategy? When you compare some luxury brands, the established practices are to take a French brand versus an American one. However, we choose to focus on the two French one. How they run the brand in order to make consumers feel special, unique, a part of the experience.

It is so similar to the Boy Chanel, but is priced lower, and even has suede lining instead of fabric and a lighter chain to woo the customer to purchase the Dior instead of the Chanel.

So I suggest getting what you love rather than getting something based on resale value. If you love it, then you will wear it more often, and may be less likely to resell it. Retail price for Dior is cheaper, but from what i've seen on the resale market, the sold price could be half of the original purchase price but it depends.
